antisocial.media
the anti-social network

Get off the feed.
Get a page.

Social media used to be your page, your friends, your terrible song on autoplay. Now it's a slot machine wearing your friends' faces. We're going back. With better tools.

works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, whatever agent you already use. you own the domain, the code, and the guest list.

what_you_get.txt

One page, on a domain you own. Public sees the minimum: your name, what you're into, a locked door.

Keys, not accounts. Friends get a link. Family gets a different link. Coworkers get a third one. Each key opens a different version of you.

A guestbook instead of comments. A Top 8 instead of followers. A profile song instead of a For You page.

No middleman. No platform can shadowban you, sell you, or shut you down. Worst case, you move the folder.

Tiers are just folders plus a cookie. That's it. That's the whole trick. See how it works →

the whole tutorial, honestly

You don't need to code. You need to boss an agent around.

Open whatever AI coding tool you already have. Paste this. Answer its questions. Approve the plan. That's the product. It's free. We're not gatekeeping a tutorial, that's the whole point.

Read https://antisocial.media/agent/ANTISOCIAL.md and follow it exactly
to build my personal page with tiered private access. Interview me
first, then build, then help me deploy it to a domain I own.
house rules

The antisocial commandments

  1. Thou shalt own thy domain. Not a handle. A domain. Yours until you stop paying $12 a year.
  2. No algorithm. Your page shows what you put on it, in the order you put it. Revolutionary.
  3. No ads, no trackers, no pixels. Your friends are not an audience and your family is not a segment.
  4. Keys, not followers. You decide who's in. You can take the key back. No one "requests" anything.
  5. A guestbook, not a comment section. People sign it like they mean it.
  6. Thou shalt have a profile song. Autoplay is banned. A play button is mandatory.
  7. Top 8 is sacred. Rank your friends in public. Consequences are part of the experience.
  8. View source is a feature. If someone likes your page they can steal your CSS. That's how we learned the first time.
  9. No infinite scroll. A page has a bottom. Go outside.

carrington.ai is the first page built the antisocial way. Public gets a name and a locked door. Friends, family and coworkers each get a key. Go knock →

Built with the exact instructions on this site, by an AI agent, in one sitting. Then the DNS took longer than the site. It always does.
